Telehealth is proven to be safe and effective and can even lead to better health outcomes by increasing timely access to care and helping patients avoid long wait times in crowded clinical spaces.
Telehealth can be used by qualified healthcare providers to assess and manage many common complaints, including a majority of health concerns for those 18+.
Our medical team is experienced with in-person and virtual care and follows evidence-based clinical guidelines.When in-person care is necessary or more appropriate, we will not hesitate to make recommendations. Our health advisors will work with you to identify the most convenient and appropriate options for in-person care. The Care Team will follow up afterward to ensure you’ve gotten the support you need.

Wellnus is a membership-based virtual Primary Care clinic providing medical services via TELE-HEALTH ONLY. This includes both phone and video appointments.
We can answer any health-related question, prescribe medicine or order labs and blood work for you. You can book an appointment through our website.

For services we don't yet offer or that aren't possible to manage virtually, Wellnus will help you through finding other options to treat your health concern. This includes:
- Physical exams, sports physicals, and health clearance forms
- Testosterone hormone therapy
- New ADHD diagnoses
- Bipolar disorder
- Active eating disorders
- Substance use disorders
- Schizophrenia
- IUD and Implant placement and removal
- In-clinic abortion services
- Pregnancy and prenatal care after 11 weeks
- Pap smears

Yes, our Care Team prescribes medicine and orders labs. You can have medications delivered to you or choose a preferred pharmacy for pick-up. For lab orders, the Care Team will send you to Quest Diagnostics, a different local lab, or send a test kit to your address where applicable.

Members can choose a specific clinician to work with based on preferred language spoken, scheduling and availability.

Wellnus is often available when and in ways that student health is not, whether because they’re closed or don’t have available appointments.
Unlike student health, Wellnus offers digital services and isn’t just for when you’re sick. Our team provides immediate access for answering health-related questions, managing symptoms, diagnosing and treating many conditions, and educational resources as you navigate your own care at college.
Unlike student health, we are also available after you leave college. If you start therapy, long-term care, or simply find a clinician you like, we will stay with you as you transition out of college and beyond. -
While Wellnus’s annual membership fees are not covered by insurance, you can use your insurance for prescriptions, lab testing or visits to referred specialists just like any other doctor's office.

Membership includes unlimited access to all our medical services, including access to the Care Team and self-service tools to help you take control of your health.

- Your Wellnus subscription automatically renews on a yearly basis unless you cancel it prior to your next billing date.

No, you don’t need health insurance to use Wellnus. If you need prescriptions, labs, or in-person care, it will be an out-of-pocket cost, but we will work with you to estimate and minimize these costs.

If you are uninsured, you may be required to pay out of pocket for your testing and prescriptions. We will help you find the most competitive pricing.
Medical Records

Wellnus makes it easy to consolidate your medical records into one place. We use a healthcare platform called Charm Health. Your patient account that is created by you, is only accessible to you - and is password protected. This way, you can access your medical records no matter what state or country you are located in.
If you have digital copies of your existing medical records, feel free to send those to us at hello@thewellnuscompany.com and our Patient Support Associates will upload them into your account for you to view.
