The idea of this business started when were lucky enough to have the opportunity and privilege to live in and travel to many countries. Everywhere we have been, we saw first hand how important access to good healthcare is. Things like preventative medicine, diabetes, high blood pressure and pregnancy are the same in any part of the world. When we moved back to the United States, our daughter needed a simple check-up, and we realized just how complicated and expensive the system made it for routine visits. Luckily, my husband is a doctor, so we weren't in a rush. But not everyone is married to a doctor. On that day, we decided to start a company with the purpose to truly make a difference and make medical care easy in America. We wanted to create a sustainable stream of income that wouldn’t rely on donations. That's how we built our simple membership model - removing all the red tape in healthcare.
